This is Bubbles. She & her Captain, Alex Rust (along with a somewhat misfit crew acquired along the way) are the stars of the documentary “Chasing Bubbles”. In Brief: An Indiana farm boy, then successful day trader at a Chicago financial firm, Alex feels there is more to life than money. At age 25, he buys a boat, and his adventure begins. Quickly leading to a circumnavigation of discovery, joy, (and maybe a little good natured debauchery) along the way.

Bubbles has not only circumnavigated with her beloved Captain Alex, she later survived not one, but two Category 5 hurricanes. After an extensive refit, she is happy to be back where she belongs, on the high seas. Come be a part of her ongoing story! Given that only 40 Fast Passage 39s were built, it’s apt to be difficult to find one to purchase, let alone charter. At 39′ 6″ with a beam of 11′ 2″ the FP 39 is roomy, efficient, manageably sized, and instantly popular with would-be voyagers. On the port side, the private cabin with loads of storage makes a great owner’s stateroom. The double berth is sufficient for one person or a cozy couple. Opposite this cabin on the starboard side is the forward facing navigation desk with easy access to both cockpit and the traditional U-shaped galley with aft-facing sinks providing a secure work underway. The foward V-berth can be set up as a generous double/queen or two twin beds. A large hatch overhead provides plenty of ventilation, along with fans, GFci outlets and reading lights installed throughout for comfort and convenience. The Salon also converts to sleeping quarters as well.
