“Silver Lining” 2002 Leopard 47′ Catamaran

Even though “Silver Lining” is 47 feet long, she is easy to sail, wide, roomy, and equipped with extras so you can craft your own adventure. She is designed for stability, so she ”sails flat”, but not at the expense of performance.

Her deck has acres of space to hang out and soak in the sun, with wide steps off the stern from which to hang toes in the water or slide in for a swim or snorkel (and a struggle-free re-boarding.)

The well-thought-out interior layout has four private guest cabins, each with a queen berth, bathroom with shower, and plenty of light and storage. “Bubbles” 1983 Fast Passage 39 Monohull.

This is Bubbles. She & her Captain, Alex Rust (along with a somewhat misfit crew acquired along the way) are the stars of the documentary “Chasing Bubbles”. In Brief: An Indiana farm boy, then successful day trader at a Chicago financial firm, Alex feels there is more to life than money. At age 25, he buys a boat, and his adventure begins. Quickly leading to a circumnavigation of discovery, joy, (and maybe a little good-natured debauchery) along the way.
